making 250 Euros.

in UK, the Griffon Bruxellois Breeders Association

has auctioned another Aussie made pewter griffon figurine - it made 180 UK pounds -

this goes to SM research in UK. (which helps the breed worldwide)

Previously Bridget Power (our Secretary) came up with the idea for fundraising for CM/SM reseach -

this was prior to our NSW club's inception, so with the support of the GBC of Victoria,

a raffle was performed.  $5,000 was made towards the AGBA's  combined efforts to help the

USA Canine Health Foundations Grant number 1004

The Raffle prizes were:

1st:  an MRI kindly donated by Rossmore & Quakers Hill vet clinic, Drs Blair Kurtz and Ted Humphries

(reading and grading of MRI's graciously donated by Specialist Neurologist Dr Clare Rusbridge, UK)

2nd & 3rd: DVD's with latest findings and info on CM/SM

and copies of Dr Rusbridge's Thesis on CM/SM.

donated by Dr Clare Rusbridge (UK)

These are the pewter figurines - a total of only 6, numbered and signed have beed made.

The last figurine, was accepted by the SWEDISH Griffon Club, and has been

auctioned by them, for the proceeds  to go to the Friends of Lola Fund

showing once again, how much the people who have Griffons want to help the researchers help the dogs!
